NFTsnapback Charity Programme.
Founders Background.
To get some context I, the founder (Cryptolander) of NFTsnapback was born and raised in East Africa.
Born during the Civil War my Parents fled the horrific situation and I found myself thanks to my parents raised aboard. That was not the case for so many families and people at that time.
Somaliland
What many might not be aware of is that Somaliland, claims Independence from Somali, and for the last 25+ Years it has seen peace within the country.
However due to International Politics it’s still seen as a unrecognised independent country.
Leaving International Aid’s or access to funds some what not as easy as like Somali for example.
Charity Starts From Home
As the saying goes “charity starts from home”,
So for the last two year’s I and some family members have taken within our selfs to support families, from deprived backgrounds, that might have a child/young student that is able and has the academic interest to purse University or higher education.
The reason behind this was simple, education is a foundation of all communities and society. I believe if the people have a great a solid education then they will be able to work, provide and even create jobs for them selfs and even for wider society.
How % is collected for Charity Programme.
Here is a break down on how NFTsnapback will allocate % to the Charity Programme.
- 1% From all Royalties Will go to Charity Programme. (Royalties set at 2.5%)
- 10% From All Profits will Also be allocated to the Charity Programme.
- A registered ETH Address will be assigned to NFTsnapback Charity Programme.
I hope this is just a start. I hope that overall the project will be able to raise a significant amount and be able to help so many people and families in East Africa.
O.G.C || KONGZ Series 1
The very 1st Charity Collection will be of the #1 Mint of the Physical NFTsnapback O.G.C || KONGZ Series 1 Launch.
This will be auctioned and 100% of the proceed will go to the Charity Programme.
This will hope to kick start the Charity Pot and be able to start thinking ahead for this Summer students that would like to go into Higher Education.
How Are We Updated?
There will be a Quarterly Updates on our website. We will have a dedicated page to keep you updated on Students and current Charity Programme funds that have been raised.
The funds will be allocated in Full transparency showing all transactions and receipts of all fees tuition or any Charity programme NFTsnapback set out.
NFTsnapback will always disclose all funds spent during each quarterly report that is put out on the website.
Ambitious
This is a very ambitious Idea that I wish to involve NFTsnapback project. It will be my intention to be able to support more people of the success of the project that is only supported by the #nftcommunity.
It only makes sense to me, that if am able to be blessed with an opportunity that so many don’t or didn’t get have, that I only do as much positive as I can.
